There are two post-operative Wards in ASMCH. POW 1 is located on the 4th floor of the Nasima ward for the caesarian and other obstetrical mothers. POW 2 is located on the 8th floor having 16 beds. There is a recovery ward close to the general OT having 14 beds. and are only used to keep the patients under observation. They are transferred to other post-operative wards from here after 6-7 hours. The experienced and dedicated doctors and nursing staff look after the patients till they are shifted to their respective wards.
